Crisp
English
Christening Gown
C.
1900
A
fantastic gown with body and character. Beautiful without an excess of
frills. The
bottom concludes with five pintucks and elegant hemstitching. The bodice
features a double row of gathered whitework at the collar and long
sleeves with a unique gather two inches above the
cuff. The cotton is heavier than lawn with a satisfying crisp
weight.
The back closes with two cotton ties and a lovely relaxed neckline with
lots of extra fabric in back. Made by a combination of machine and hand.
French seams throughout. Superb condition.
