Blue Dress with Pink Buttons

C.1950.

So much time went into hand constructing these wonderful clothes from the 50s. Every seam and each scallop of this lovely dress is hand sewn. Sweet pink flowers and pink buttons provide a happy accent to the medium weight powder blue cotton. Generous deep hem and puffy sleeves use quite a bit more fabric than is allowed in dresses today. Scalloped front closure. French seams. Sleeves finished with a delicate binding. Tag reads, "Hand made. Alfred Leon original." Superb condition.  40.00.   #020202A.

Neck circumference:  14 inches.

Underarm circumference:  22 inches.

Armhole circumference:   9 inches.

Sleeve cuff circumference: 6 inches.

Bottom hem circumference  44  inches.
