Cotton Gown with Embroidered Flowers and Pin Closure.

c.1910

Rows and rows of cotton insertion lace combined with embroidered bands, a cotton ruffle, and entredeux have turned this light batiste gown into a cloud-like dream! Also features a rounded yoke from the very same carefully joined rows of lace. Even the slip features five rows of lace and embroidery, peeking out from the bottom, making a big contribution to the fullness.  Buttons in back with two hidden buttons. In spite of all the fullness, is very light and fluffy.  Superb condition.

#041703.
